Definitely. The rarer the discipline and the tougher the work, the more money they make, especially transplant surgeons be they heart transplant, or liver, kidney, whatever.
Of course heart surgeons make just about more than anesthesiologist. Heart surgeons are the ones that perform the surgery and are up for hours trying to prolong the patients life. Anesthesiologists are there through the whole thing, making sure the patient is in la la land. Peace Brownies
