Do I need medication?

My mom thinks that I have low blood pressure [which I probably do], so what could help me with my low blood pressure? Do I need medication or do I need to change my diet?.. or what??
Answer:
In case it is low blood pressure: that's somehow normal if your body does not work. In that case, the best medicine for you is probably sports. But all kinds of motion will be good for you.But maybe she says so because you are always tired or inattentive? In that case, talk to your doctor, you might need something else.
Only a Dr. can determine whether you need meds for this. See Your Dr.
I had low blood pressure as a kid., into my teens. I think as I gained weight it went to normal. Now I am in my 50s and boarder line high blood pressure but I have gained 30 lbs of my normal weight for my age.
I think weight has a lot to do with it .
if your doctor recommends a diet go for it. It depends how low your pressure is,..
I never took medication
You need to go to a doctor, or if you cant afford one, go to your county's health departament, they can check all of that for free or cheap.. Then let the experts tell you what to do, not yahoo users.
You could try drinking more water. I have low blood pressure and the main problem I have is headaches. Sometimes I have a caffeine drink and it goes away. Otherwise, I have been living with low blood pressure for 45 pretty healthy years and have never had to take meds for a blood pressure of 90/60.
What has your doctor said?
They recently lowered the values for what is medically considered normal/high etc.
You need to see your doctor for a physical examination. Your mom can't read your blood pressure out of thin air. I doubt that you have a bloob pressure problem.
could be any number of problems from diet to a medical condition, you should see a doctor if you have low blood pressure and feel dizzy, tired etc
go get a free reading and free advice from your local pharmacist
Normal BP is 120/80 unless you are way below normal you dont need meds but if u are way below that see your docter. I have low BP it is usually hereditary. Hey look at it this way it is better that high BP%26gt; I take a daily supplement for a boost b/c low BP can make you feel tired.
I have had low blood pressure all my life. My doctors advice . eat more Celtic or Himilayan sea salt.
This is something that needs to be tested and determined by your doctor. I am not a doctor and I don't know you so that you will have to leave to the doctor.

Do i have vitiligo?

ok at school, i gotta run alot of laps. after i'm done, i always see these white spots on the palm of my hands. its very noticable after i run,but you can still kinda see it still. do i have vitiligo and how do you get rid of it? if i leave it, will all my skin turn white like michael jackson? Do i have tinnitus?

i've been experiencing ringing in my ears for a few years now. at least i think so. honestly im not really sure when i first got it but anyway i've been hearing this ringing in my ears that isn't very loud but it's there. i notice it more when it's quiet and less when it's noisy and sometimes it's louder than other times. my dad has tinnitus and i would just assume that i have it, too, judging from what he's said about it, but i heard somewhere that you can experience ringing in your ears if you have bad sinuses, which i do. is that true? and do i have tinnitus?
Answer:
The only way to find out for sure is to go to an ear and throat specialist who specializes in disorders like tinnitus.A friend of mine has tinnitus and she was diagnosed by an ear and throat specialist.Sky: Tinnitus IS a disorder. Research it and you'll see; especially about William Shatner. He has it.
Tinnitus is simply the name of a symptom- ringing in the ears- it is not a medical condition persay. (for example, if you overdose on asprin you will develop ringing in your ears that they term tinnitus.) Many things can cause this. It may be short or long in durration, but it is a symptom, much like fever is a symptom.
"Tinnitus is not itself a disease but a symptom resulting from a range of underlying causes, including ear infections, foreign objects or wax in the ear, and injury from loud noises. Tinnitus is also a side-effect of some oral medications, such as aspirin, and may also result from an abnormally low level of serotonin."-- Wikipedia
If you listen to music with ear buds at a very large volume, this can create tinnitus and eventually hearing loss. It is very annoying and there isn't anything that will make it go away. Try regular headphones while listening to music and turning down the volume. Check with an ENT specialist.

Do i have tb?

I took a mantoux shot and the nurse said not to wet it or scratch it. The same day later I took a shower wet my arm by accident, so now the spot has become swollen and pink. I dont know if it's the water that did that or what. And I still have the swollen, bumpy spot 3 days later. U think I have tb?
Answer:
okay, if it has been 3 days how 'bout getting it checked!!
if it is a firm spot then the answer would be yes!! oh and by the way you can shower after getting a skin test.
a positive TB test means you have been exposed to TB and either have active or inactive TB (ie you could have overcome it with your own immune system, but it is still only trapped, not dead)...Should have been checked after two days...I have never heard of "never wet it" but of course don't scratch it...

Do I have sleep apnea?

I have trouble breathing sometimes at night. Its not a constant thing and usually happens once every so often or it can happen three nights in a row and not show up for months. I'll be sleeping and then all of a sudden I wake up to gasp for breath. Sometimes I feel like I wasn't breathing after I wake up and I have to cough. Most of the time it happens when I'm sleeping on my back. Its scary and I'll never get used to it. I don't snore and I'm not over weight. I do have a deviated septum.I am also tired all the time. After I wake up about two hours later I need to go back to bed. After I wake up from my nap around two more hours later I need to sleep again. My last Dr didn't really seem to care. She blamed my anxiety.
Answer:
yes, most likely you do-- see your doc, they will do a sleep study and that will definitely prove whether you have it- which it really sounds like you do--- you will then get a machine to wear at night while sleeping which will allow you to keep breathing throughout the night-- you won't believe how great you'll feel in the morning because it will be the first time since who knows when that you would have slept through the night and by the way, sleep apnea causes heart disease, weight gain and anxiety...so get checked out soon....good luck to you
Yes, apnea is when you stop breating during sleep, it can be a dangerous condition... ESP if you are pregnant! There are treatments.
I think you very definitely show symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea. You need to have a sleep study done to verify it. If your doctor won't go for it, see another, preferably a pulmonologist.
You should go see a doctor who is a sleep specialist. The doctor will have you stay overnight and monitor your heart and breathing. The doctor will be able to determine if you have sleep apnea.
have you tried benedryl at night when you go to bed. it sounds like you and i are in the same boatyou need to try some celestial seasonings teas they are great for you problem i couldnt sleep well and still cant i know my is medical. you need to quit smoking like i do also that will effect your sleeping habit also
sleep apnea is when you go into a very deep and relaxed sleepto the point when your lungs almost calapsi know this cause my dad has it realy bad.he is not over weight but gose into a very deep sleep and snores very long and loud. he dose not wake up when he stops breathing.we nudge him .i think you should sleep on your side it get that tested .there could be a chanse you have just to be sure go.
No question. You've got sleep apnea. Welcome
to my club! To be a charter member, all you have
to do is pay your dues. (Not to me, personally,
but to your local pharmacy or supermarket cashier.)
For $15.00 per month, plus sales tax, you can get a
box of 30 Breathe Right Strips.
Try 'em. You'll like 'em. They'll work.
But, before applying one of the flesh-tone adhesive
strips to the bridge of your nose, make sure you've
washed your face thoroughly--because they will not
work for people with clogged-up pores.
You may very well have sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is normally worst when people are on their backs. Sometimes people will only have apneas when they are on their backs. You can try an old trick. Make a pocket on the back of your PJs and put in a tennis ball. This can train you to stay off your back. It might be worth trying to see if it helps.

Do I have running asthma if so how do I lessen my symptoms?

I am pretty sure I have running asthma I am in 10th grade and this year I started my very first track season and I'm on the distance team so i run 800's, 1600's, and 3200's and on all of these races around the end of the first lap to the end of the second lap depending on the length of the race I start wheezing and my chest feels tight and this goes away after a little while in the 1600 or the 3200 it doesn't really fully go away in the 800 since it's only two laps is there a particular type of warm up i should do before my races that will lessen this? because during practice when we do work outs on the track usually my first trial runs are the hardest and they get easier on my breathing as I go.
Answer:
It's obvious your trigger is exercise. The best non medication treatment for asthma is knowing your triggers and avoiding them. If you can't, you will need a prescription medications. Inhalers should be used for after attacks start. They are know as rescue medications.I have just the answer for you. Read this story..Singulair Approved for EXERCISE-Induced Asthma WEDNESDAY, April 25 2007 (HealthDay News) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the Merck asthma and allergy drug Singulair (montelukast sodium) for people aged 15 and older who experience asthma symptoms during exercise, the company said Wednesday.Symptoms of the condition, medically known as exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, include shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing and chest tightness. In clinical testing involving 160 people, those who took a 10-milligram dose of Singulair two hours before exercise showed a significant reduction in symptoms compared with those who took a placebo, Merck said in a statement.People who already take Singulair daily for other reasons, including chronic asthma, should never take an additional dose before exercise, the company warned.Side effects reported during clinical testing included headache, ear infection, sore throat and upper respiratory infection.Singulair is already approved to treat asthma in people 1 year and older, and for seasonal allergy symptoms in adults and children 2 years and older.
It is called exercise induced asthmaThere are inhalers that can help and there are some drugs that will help in the long term to prevent the attacks. But you need to go to the Dr's and get a test to fine out how your lungs are functioning. Please note that one of the most popular ways to treat asthma is steroids. Now depending on what level you are competing at you are not aloud to take them. If it is just high school you may be OK but if you go to state or higher you can not take them. Tell your Dr. There are other ways to treat asthma that are with in the rules of sport. Ask your coach and he / she will be able to get a list of substances /drugs you can not takeBut many people have to quite to look after their health.
My asthma started the same as yours...and at the same age, too.As some have already said, it's called Exercised-Induced Asthma (EIA), and the only person that can really diagnose this is your doctor. Make an appointment soon so you can talk about this symptoms. Although it doesn't sound like yours is out of control, it can easily get that way, so you need to make an appointment soon. Your doctor will likely send you for the methacholine challenge test (which is when they give you some medicine to induce an asthma attack if you are asthmatic) and also do some pulmonary function tests to see how well your lungs are working. Although it sounds kind of scary, it's really not at all...you just breathe, and they record the numbers.Once you get the results from that test, you'll know whether you have asthma or not. Then, you and your doctor can start talking about medications to control your asthma. There are two kinds of medications: rescue medications (what you use during an attack) and controller medications (the long term ones that don't stop an attack but do help to make your symptoms more controlled). I've included a link below to let you find out more about those. As for what you can do in the short-term, I'm not sure what warm-up you're doing now before you run, but you may need to change your plans. When I had to run (before tennis practice), I would always walk first. I would do different stretching exercises with my racquet (behind my head, bending down, etc.) In personal experience, I've found that warming up is VERY important for asthmatics, and it seems like it would help you, too, based on what you said here. The other thing I did was--at the request of my doctor--use the rescue inhaler before practice, and this helped to keep my bronchial tubes open.Good luck! Lots of athletes have asthma, so you shouldn't have to give up your goals if you are diagnosed with asthma.

Do i have pink eyes?

my eyes are red but not itching but i do have a clear and jelly like item in both of my eyes. near the duck where the tears come out.
Answer:
I cannot exactly picture that, but I've had pink eye and what happens is that the blood vessels your eyes get really red and your eye whites have a pinkish look from a distance. Whatever you do, do not touch them, and wash your hands often b/c it is highly contagious. here's what it looks like:
http://www.dvn.co.za/images/pink.jpg...
when i had it my eye did not itch eaither or you could be allergic to something.
or maybe an allergic reaction to something??if it is pink eye - the other answerer was correct, it is highly contagious. if you rubbed/wiped your eye %26 didn't wash your hands, then rubbed your other eye - that is how you got it in bothfill up a sink/bowl w/warm salt water %26 splash it on your face - you shouldn't purposely open your eyes, just keep them relaxed, do this a few times a day
if it is pink eye - it will go away by tomorrow
its called "Conjunctivitis" - inflammation of the eye or something blah blah blah (not sure)...but what i know is that if you're not careful, you'll get a terrible vision problem and that's not half of it - this is a highly infectious disease and others around you can **easily ** get this from you just by touching whatever you touched and then touching their eyes.i'm not 100% sure if thats the thing you've got, so i think it'd be better if you see a doc first b4 jumping into any conclusions..!!

Do i have OCD?

Can u people tell if its ocd that i have example: i repeat things that i touch and if i dont i feel like somethin bad is gonna happen or i dont want to hear numbers like 5 so i tell someone to repeat me not 5 not not 5 not 5 is it an OCD ??
Answer:
I think that you probably have OCD. It sounds like the symptoms, but don't take my word for it, I'm not a psychiatrist. I would suggest that you go to www.bossbackocd.com
It has some great info.
Yes, I could tell and most people would also.
You should go to a therapist and get evaluated. That's the best way to tell.
Could be.Find a mental health clinic and bring this up at your intake interview. That's easy, because after your name and such, their first question will be "why did you come to see us?"
Potentially, the best way to know for sure is to see a psychologist.

Do i have mono ? :[?

I`ve had a bloody nose, sore throat, stiff neck, cough, tons of sneezing, and stuffy nose. :[ please tell me if i should get checked for mono or something !
Answer:
Hmm could be mono.. I had a very severe case of mono a few years ago, and the only symptom i had was a severely swollen and sore throat. Felt kind of like the flu, only it takes a long time to recover for me it was 4-6 weeks. Definately go to the doctor, a mono spot can't hurt..
idk go to the doctor, its hard to telll it could be mono or just a cold ..i dont think the bloody nose has anything to do with it but if u get checked, tell the doctor
There are different things that could be, but yes, you should be checked by a doctor, just in case. You'll feel better just knowing, one way or another.
It's probably just the flu. Do you have a rash too? Mono can cause rashes on your skin in various places.
definitley get checked
i would get checked out if it is really bothering you but it doesn't sound like you have mono. i had mono when i was younger and i had white spots in my mouth and i didn't want to eat anything and after a few days i got a really bad fever and became delusional. so i don't think that you have mono.
What are you waiting 4?, You better get to that doctor, but if you want to keep that on the low, go to an annonomys testing clinic. because that way you can deal with public health at the clinic, not when they decide to follow-up and see if you received treatment etc. They will also tell your partners for you!

Do I have leukemia?

My parents see me as pale. My lips are not on it's usual color.
Answer:
The only way that you can be diagnosed as being leukemic is through blood testing, being pale and pasty is not a factor in the diagnosis although it may be an indicator of some form of illness. There are a variety of things that you could have, although you'll never know until you see a doctor, and pretty much all of them are treatable. By the way, take this from one pasty girl, you could just be pasty and have nothing at all. Best of Luck!
God forbid!!
You don't have leukemia, you can take it for granted. You might be having anemia.
God forbid. If you really want to know, have your blood examined. If the white blood cells aren't in the recomended ammount..
Pale skin could come from alot of other things.
Good look and good health.
The only way to know is to go get a blood test . But if you are pale and your lips are not the right color you are more likely to be anemic. Eat something with iron in it like red meat.
You could be anemic or just someone who stays indoors alot.
Sweetie, I hope that you don't. Here is a good site for info, so you can see if you have any other symptoms:

Do I have heartburn or something else?

Okay so this all started about 28 hours ago.I think it started after I ate half a box of tagalong girl scout cookies...but that's no really important.Okay so it hurts around my esophogous/chest area whenever I yell or laugh. I have that feeling when you swallow a big piece of bread whole...its hard to explain.what do you think it is? What should I do about it? I don't want any medicines...but are there any natural cures for this? I don't know if it's heartburn because I never had that..I don't have any other symptoms, and feel fine other than the moderate pain in the esophogous area...Help please...thank you
BY THE WAY:
I am 13.5 years old
And Weigh about 95 plbs
And am about 5'1'' if that matters.
Answer:
Most 13 year olds don't get heart burn, or hiatal hernias, or heart attacks which all have similar symptoms; however, I still wouldn't fool around with it if it hasn't gone away by now. Even a cookie would have dissolved by now. Talk to your mother or the school nurse - whichever is closest when you read this and check out with a doctor because even if it isn't normal kids do die from heart conditions too. Better to be embarrased and safe than a 'cool dude' and dead.
It might be heartburn if it's like swallowing too much at once [I know what you're talking about] and my heart burn started around the same age, but it shouldn't really hurt when you yell or laugh...I'm not sure actually. But if it is heartburn the best thing for it is TUMS. =]
Have u talked to ur parents?? The box of GS cookies could be the culprit, drink a coke really quick and see if you can burp!! That sometimes relieves the pressure..so can Tums or maalox!! If it persists please see a doctor!! Hope you feel better soon!
If it is heartburn and you don't want to take any medications, try drinking a warm can of Ginger ale. Drink down as much as you can without stopping.
it sounds like maybe you have a little indigestion heartburn is down lower about the center of your chest just below your ribcage, plus heartburn hurts bad sometimes as well, sometimes when i get indigestion if i could just let out a big burp lol i think i would fill better so try drinking some Sprite, or seven-up next time.and also maybe just try not to eat so much at one time and too fast too that can aggravate it more. i hope this helps.

Do I have exploding head syndrome?

Recently (about the last month and once maybe every 2 nights) my head would jerk up when I am napping or sleeping. This jerking is sometimes associated with a frightening image though also very often not and a strange stabbing sensation (doesn't really hurt) in my head almost as if my brain were contracting. I usually end up sleeping again after this but will be left with a scared or uneasy feeling afterward. I have done some research and found that it sounds most like "exploding head syndrome," (YES THAT IS A REAL SYDROME), can anyone give me any insight on what this may be or if you have experienced this too?
Answer:
that sounds serious you should really go see a doctor. I havent heard of that but it sounds like it could cause brain damage.

Do I have dibetes?

HI, for the past few months i have been having the following symptoms:
*Frequent urination (ecspeccially at night)
*Migraines
*Really thirsty
*Really hungry even 5 minutes after eating dinner
*Ocassional vomiting
*Muscle Spasms
*Limbs feeling coldMy grandfathr has type 1, and i am 13 years old overweight by 35 pounds. I know the only way to knows go to go to my doctor. But i was just wondering what people thought.
Answer:
Well, you've got a lot of the symptoms. It would be best to go to doctors/ hospital asap. You say you're over weight, you may be type two diabetic. You have nothing to gain by waiting. You mention your grandfather is diabetic..Use his glucometer (it tests his blood sugar). Ask him. He will let you. Your blood sugar reading should be between 4-8. It doesn't matter if its below 4...in your case. But if its above 8- you are most probably diabetic. You definetly have a lot of the symptoms. Frequent urination: your body is trying to remove excess sugar from your blood through your urine
Really thirst: well you need to replace the water you've lost through urination
Occassional vomiting: blood may be acidicIn my case I had other symptoms of: lost a lot of weight (your body cannot convery sugar into energy, so it breaks down fat reserves...organs..etc)...was really weak...tired all the time. I actually got bored from waiting for myself to finish urinating.I hope your ok. But you need to find out as soon as possible. its in the interest of your health. If you are diabetic, high blood sugar levels can lead to nerve damage. Dont ignore this. See a doctor...or at least use your grandads glucometer to check your blood sugar.Being diabetic isn't the end of the world. Ive had it for 3 years. I do everything other non-diabetics do. Also- the extra knowledge helped me ace biology in year 12. GOOD LUCK
Yup, some of them are diabetes symptoms, but I dun think migraine is one of them. Maybe it's a sign of other sickness.
Better get a check up.
These are the symptoms of diabetes (except for vomiting and muscle spasms. Tell your parents to make you an appointment with your doctor. Also tell the school nurse so that he / she will know what's going on. Here's a link to information for you to read. Take good care of yourself.
YES I THINK YOU SHOULD GO ITS A VERY GOOD CHANCE YOU MIGHT HAVE DIABETES YOU DON'T WANNA PLAY AROUND WITH THAT EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT SOMETHING ELSE MIGHT BE WRONG
Like you said the only way to know for sure is to go to a doctor. However, some of the things you mentioned are symptoms of Diabetes. But take heart at your age if you lose the weight you can probably reverse it. I just read an article the other day that spoke about a study that was done on overweight 15 year old boys who did weight lifting twice a week. They improved their bodies insulin sensitivity by 45%. That is a freakin lot of improvement! Get in the gym my friend. Even if you don't have Diabetes more exercise would be good for you. Wishing you the best
Go to the doctor, what does it matter what we think? We aint gonna change nothing.
for sure get to your doctor. all your symptoms are symptoms of dibetes... good luck with everything!!! i hope i helped you out!! good smart question!! its better to be safe than sorry!!
You definitely have some signs, so it's probably best you go see a doctor to make sure. Even if it turns out you have type 2 diabetes, you can bring it under control with diet, medication, and exercise. Good luck!
you have a lot of symptoms of diabetes and it is possible. you could get a prelim check by checking your fasting blood sugar, meaning don't eat or drink anything with any type of sugar or nutrition for at least 8 hours. then check your blood sugar. you could use your grandfather's machine if he has lancets that are single use only, or go to a free health screening. either way these symptoms need to be followed by a md.
From what you are saying, it's a possibility, but you do need to go to the doctor, worrying about it isn't good, I realize your young and it's scary, but the sooner you find out the better. Speak to your grandfather for moral support or another family member. I hope everything turns out okay. Take care of yourself.

Do I have diabetes?

Lately, I've been tired and my skin is irritable. I urine a lot and its more than I drink. My vision is blurry and it hurts at times. I am hungry all the time and it seems that I never gets full...NO, I'M NOT PREGNANT! Diabetes runs in my family on both sides.
Answer:
take a blood test
Could be, those are the symptoms. You need to see your doctor right away and have your blood sugar tested. Or, go to the emergency room.
Go to WebMD.com...No one here is a qualified doctor. You're asking a bunch of Novices.
You really need to have blood work done to check your overall condition. There could be many different things causing you to feel this way.

You seem to have all the symptoms of a diabetic. Best way to make sure is to take a blood glucose test. Why don't you ask one of your diabetic relatives who has a BG meter to help you?
Go to your doctor. Let him give you a check up and a few blood tests. That will tell you for sure one way or the other.
it sounds like you probably do have diabetes but the only way to know for sure is to consult with a doctor.
good luck to you.
Well it seems compelling to me that this is indeed what is going on. Have you been seen by your physician yet? I would highly suggest it and the sooner the better.
If you know anyone with diabetes ask them to test you...they can do that by switching needles and stuff, definately go to the doctor befor your blood suger gets too high, this happened to my brother, but he lost a lot of weight like 25 pounds in less then a month, so if this is also happening get in there and talk with your doc ASAP, but get in there soon just to check.GOOD LUCK!!!!
Those are certainly some of the symptoms. To be sure have a fasting blood test done at your doc's. You need to find out and if you have it and get it under control ASAP. Good luck.

Do I have colon cancer?

HiI ben having left lower abdominal pain with blood stools, I also felt a lump close to rectum, I had colonscopy last friday and they removed many tumors/Polyps. DOc said It MAY BE or MAY NOT be cancerous(waiting on biopsy report), can somone share any expereinces? I am 31 male
Answer:
Just pray that everything will be alright...
http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec09/ch131/ch...This will educate you on the staging of colon cancer.
Waiting is difficult. But the biopsy is the only sure way to know. Sorry and good luck!
My husband had colon cancer and although he did have a lump, It also hurt when he sat down. He had blood in his stools but, It was worse than a woman with her period and the color was a dark brown. He also had excessive gas and diareah with that. He lost a ton of weight as well. But when the Dr. finally found the problem it was to late. it metastasized through out his body. It sounds to me that it was just that, Polyps and the biopsy should come out fine. Good luck and I'll say a prayer for you tonight.
The symptoms of Colon Cancer may include: rectal bleeding, iron-deficiency anemia, alteration in bowel habits, bowel obstruction, or abdominal pain and distension.
Without these symptoms, candidates can do the screening exam. Patients with these symptoms should undergo total colonic examination,
(cite from "www.smile.org.au")Early detection of colorectal cancer dramatically increases survival. For example, 90% of patients who receive early treatment are still alive after 5 years compared to 64% survival when adjacent organs or lymph nodes are affected. With traditional colorectal cancer treatments only 10% of patients are alive after 5 years if the cancer is carried to distant organs. The peak age of onset of colorectal cancer in the United States is at age 65 years.
(quote from "www.smile.org.au")I suggest you visit "www.smile.org.au"-- it is a huge database about the symptoms, preventions, effects of cancers, as well as a wide range of cancer therapies. You should also visit a specialty doctor to do some examination for you.

Do I have chicken pox?

About 4 days ago I noticed a bump on the back of my neck. Now theres two. I had chicken pox when I was younger but I only had maybe 5 on my skin. The bump doesnt itch though but Im concerned because there was this guy at work who had them about a month ago. and Im pregnant. What do you think?
Answer:
You should go to your Dr. They can test you to see if you have the antibodies. Don't rely on us for such an important answer.
no if you have any amount of chicken pox you can have them again
I wouldn't know, but if your worried about it you should see a doctor about it
The bumps could be spider bites, flea bites, or you may have a recurring case. I would talk to your doctor, especially if they itch, or more appear. Benydryl helps with the itching
you really should go see a doctor because if its chiken pox or something bad, it can really effect yor baby!! im 12 years old and when my mother was pregnant when she was 40 with my baby sister, i had to get teh chiken pox shot and so did my mother becuz it would really effect the baby plz go see the doctor right now, something may happen to you baby!!
good luck!!
p.s see a doctor NOW
If the bumps started 4 days ago and don't itch it probably is not a case of severe chicken pox( or Varicella) . It may be insect bites or acne. There is something known as "Atypical chicken-pox" which occurs after a person has had varicella or has been vaccinated against varicella- and presents as only a few lesions. In any event since you probably have some immunity to chicken-pox, I wouldn't worry about being pregnant- the baby probably is protected and would only get chicken pox if you delivered within the next few days. To be on the safe side- I would visit your GP/ internist next week to see what they could be (no need to worry and rush to the ER- as per one of the answers

Do i have cancer?

i smoke like at most 1 pack a day for like 7 years, and when i blow my nose a little spec of blood barley visible is on the tissue, and rarley when i clear my throat, and spit same thing? is it the nicotine, that does that ?
Answer:
The small amount of blood coming from your nasal passages is most likely due to an irritation of the nasal membranes or allergic rhinitis. However, spitting or coughing up blood is somewhat of a cause for alarm as this sometimes does signify an underlying problem such as a respiratory illness. It is highly unlikely that you have cancer if you are not experiencing worsening symptoms of breathlessness but seeking medical advice is your best choice.
you are probably fine
IF you want a factual answer ask your doctor, your doctor will ask you questions relating to your question and may run some tests and will tell you if you have it or not.. its better to go early before its too late.. lots of love%26lt;333Best of wishes kesha
Ask a doctor.
Smoking can make your nose bleed, and when you clear your throat the blood could be coming from your nose. It is the smoke and could be the nicotine but the only way to know if you have cancer is to see a physician.
I dont know? Do you drink water? If you answered yes, then you most likely do!

Do I have Bronchitis?

Ok, my hubby has been sleeping with the fan on us at night and it has made my sinuses go crazy. Well this morning I woke up and my chest felt really congested, my nose holes (where the sinuses drain) are sore and my nose is JACKED! When I cough, mucus comes up from my chest, but it's really bad in the morning and my chest hurts some as well as the very bottom of my throat, not like a soar throat, but a congested feeling right above my sternum. I do not have health insurance and can't afford to see a doctor. Give me a diagnosis and any home remedies would be GREAT! I drink tons of water on a daily basis and I work out at the gym 5x a week, so I'm getting the water and exercise. I also take a multi-vitamin and Vitamin C daily. HELP!!!!
Answer:
the fan could just have stirred up allergens and the congestion is just your body trying to clear out the crap you breathed in. Go to your local pharmacy and buy benadryl, and mucinex-D. Take the benadryl at night and the mucinex during the day with plenty of water. Cut down on the dairy products and the trips to the gym to only 2-3 days so your body can get extra rest to heal.
Have your husband cup his hands and pound on your back a couple times a day. This will help loosen the congestion. If you become feverish you should see a Dr. for a chest film and possibly anitbiotics.
You need some relaxation. If you can't get a prescription, than drinking green tea and resting a lot will help cure it. Don't work out until you are feeling o.k.
Try a humidifier. The fan is to keep you cool but will also dry the air out and then we have problems with congestion.

Do I have bronchitis?

I have been coughing up mucus from my lungs for four days, my nose and head arent stuffy, but my throat and ribs are so sore from coughing, i cannot take deep breathes, and the cough becomes more constant when I go to sleep, could i have bronchitis?
Answer:
Lets see as Internet doctors we will need a picture of your chest to listen to. Get the hint, see a real doctor we didn't go through med school because we are on line answering questions.
it sounds like it could be
Possible. You should see a doctor. It won't go way without prescribed medicine.
the only one that can tell you that for sure is a doctor. go to the doctor sweetie. if you have it the doctor will put you on some medicine to help get rid of it.
you could or pneumonia or pleurisyor a sinus infection or seasonal allergies
or maybe just a bad cold
do you have a fever
if you are coughing up dark yellowish green mucus
you have an infection and need antibiotics
if this lasts more than 3-4 days or you have a fever see your doctor
try taking a cough medicine with decongestant ingredients and drink plenty of liquids
Probably. You are coughing up mucus from your bronchial tubes. What color? green or yellow is an infection- you can ride it out with proper nutrition and rest. sleep with your head and shoulders elevated 10-12 inches. Drink plenty of plain liquids- water coffee tea. Breath moist air- it will help you breathe more easily. It takes sometimes as long as two months for the cough and pain in ribs to go away. Use a plain saline ( not medicated) nose spray to get balance back into your sinuses. Keep your hands clean and away from your face. try to exercise- like walking slowly at first and pick up speed when you feel stronger and keep at it even after you have re couped. If you have a fever over 101 see a doctor- or if you feel poorly for more than 7 days.
Bronchitis generally begins with the symptoms of a common cold: runny nose, sore throat, fatigue, chilliness and back and muscle aches. A slight fever may be present. The presence of green or yellow sputum suggests bacterial infection. However, a thorough examination has to be done to confirm the diagnosis of bronchitis (and exclude the possibilities of pneumonia) or just a simple cough.
Maybe. Buy some Mucinex, an expectorant, and use it for a few days to loosen the mucus. If you run a fever or get worse, see the doctor.
I believe so. Mine started with a cough, then sore throat, chills, feeling drained, then the nose symptoms. Unfortunately, a month later, my cough is still lingering. Medicine will only make it go away if it is bacterial. If it is viral, you'll just have to wait it out. I was given a z-pack and amoxicillin, neither worked, which means that mine was viral. You can't always tell by the color of your sputum either. A viral infection can turn into a bacterial infection, so it may be wise to get some meds. It may not cure you per se, but it could prevent a longer spout of illness if it were to turn into a bacterial infection.

Do I have breast cancer? or something else?

Ok I'm a guy and like 2 days ago a lump sorta disk shaped appeared under my nipple. Its about the size of my nipple and hurts a little bit when i put pressure on it. My nipple also sticks out more than the other one, infact the other one is kinda indented it which I think... is normal? So could this be breast cancer or just something else... If you have no idea don't just tell me to go see a doctor I already figured that out...
Answer:
There is no way to know unless you are assesed by a doctor. But it can be losts of other things besides cancer. For your peace of mind ussually cancer doesnt hurt.
go see a doctor IMMEDIATLY. its not called breast cancer in men its called a carcinoma.
It could be normal. A boy your age can develop strange lump like tissue in/around chest. You probably had it for a while but just noticed it.The only way to be sure it IS nothing is to see a doctor. I wouldn't be overly concerned though.
it could be many things. a swollen lymph node or a cyst. if you want, monitor it for a few days and if it doesnt go away, take further action. until then, just relax and know that this is normal. i get swollen lymph nodes frequently. i dont get sick or anything... it just happens. i know i am a girl, but it can happen to guys too. good luckand btw, for the guy above, carcinoma can mean anything, not just cancer in the chest of a male. are you just too scared to say that a guy can have breast cancer?
it could be that you have an ingrown hair . it also could be a cyst . i doubt that it would be breast cancer because you said the lump just appeared and that it is painful, generally breast cancer is not painful in the beginning stages . my best advice would be that you see a dr. to diagnose your condition properly. good luck!
go see a doctor. no one here can diagnose that for you. be a man.

Do I have breast cancer?

okay well... I'm 11 years old... sort of young i know... but it looks like a have a pimple or something on my breast... I'm so freaked! could it be a "lump"? help me out please!
Answer:
It's good that you are paying attention to your body, but it is EXTREMELY unlikely, if not impossible that you have breast cancer at your age. Some rules of thumb for a breast "lump" to be significant:1) It shouldn't generally vary with your menstrual cycle (if that has started yet in you).2) While it can be associated with skin changes, they don't spring up in a matter of days, but rather months to years.3) Breast cancer is almost never tender.
ask your mom to take a look at it.. go to the doctor.
I doubt it.
i live in Australia,so i cant see your breast from here,it sounds like a pimple, but to clear your mind go and see your doctor.
from what u describe as a "pimple" it could be just puberty.if ur worried tell ur mum or an adult u trust (females usually are prefeered but it doesn't matter who u tell as long as u do" as well go and see the doctor they'll be able 2 tell u if there is anything to worry about but i do doubt it
No. The lumps grow inside the breast and not on the breast like you have described. It is probably just a pimple. I've had them before.
best to let a doctor check that for you so you can be sure hard to tell you don't even have breats yet
Ummm. You're 11 - talk to your folks. WTF are you doing on this site? You need an oncologist.
pimples aren't breast cancer.
If its around your nipple it is a part of the nipple. THERE is us ally a row of them around your nipple some are large and noticeable others are only just visible.THEY ARE NORMAL
Go to the Doctor and get it checked for your own peace of mind.
Breast cancer appears in breasts that are mature.

Do I have asthma?

I've been experiencing a cough for the last several months. It is just a dry cough with wheezing at the end, but at times I cough so much it gives me a headache! I also choke sometimes. I've been to the doctor and he told me it was probably one of three things. (He did do a lung xray - everything fine there.) Reflux, allergies, or asthma. Because I also do have reflux, he gave me nexium to see if that would help. It hasn't. It has been a month now and today I've coughed so much my chest hurts. The doctor is calling me in a nose spray and an inhaler to see if this helps. What is it?
Answer:
It could be asthma or allergies. For a lot of people, post nasal drip can trigger coughing. Sometimes the allergens make it passed the nose, into the lungs, causing the cough. For many people allergies can cause trigger asthma.I have allergy induced asthma. As soon as it gets nice, I cough a lot, have breathing problems, and get out of breath easily. Usually a cocktail of asthma and allergy medications make me feel somewhat human again.
Hi it does not sound like asthma as you only wheeze when you cough, it could be a chest infection, how long ago was your x-ray, for the reflux ask for lansoprasol, it works great and lasts 24 hours.
WELL I CANT TELL YOU IF ITS ASTHMA BUT,MY SON HAS ASTHMA AND THEY FIRST DID A CHEST X-RAY PUT HIM ON ZYRTEC FOR
ALLERGIES AND HAD US GIVE HIM A TUMS TWICE A DAY.
HE IS 9 AND THESE THINGS DID HELP BUT,HIS COUGH DID NOT GO AWAY AND DURING EXERCISES HE WOULD GET A PAIN.
SO I GOT A REFERRAL TO A LUNG SPECIALIST AND THEY DID A COMPLETE-WORK UP ON HIM(CT OF LUNGS,DIFF TYPE OF X-RAY,BREATHING STUDY ON A TREADMILL AND IN THE OFFICE,BLOOD WORK)THIS CONFIRMED THE DIAGNOSIS OF ASTHMA AND HE IS NOW ON THE CORRECT MEDS. UP UNTIL THIS POINT HE DID NOT FEEL BETTER.IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING!!
I HOPE THIS HELPS.
OHMIGOD...I'm having deja vu. I've been there...I AM there. It took me TWO years to finally get a diagnosis. I broke ribs from coughing! They tried to tell me that I had acid reflux (I didn't), asthma (I don't), allergies (nope), a cold (hello...it's been TWO YEARS!) It turns out that I have sarcoidosis. My chest xray was clear, but it showed up in my lymph nodes in a HRCT (high resolution cat scan). Go and ask for a test for this. Good luck :)

Do i have asthma?

I mean... i have allergies... but there very mild. In the spring and summer i might sneeze here and there. And my eyes might itch badly and my nose gets runny. I also have Eczema. I'm growing out of it. I used to have it all over my hands and it was really bad but now it's just sometimes aroung my legs because i run a lot and sweat. I never had any breathing problems or anything. maybe when im running i have to take a little break but i guess thats normal. I don't feel like im having an astmha attack at all.So i would definatly know if i have it or not.. right? Or will i develop it over the years. I don't think no one in my family has it so.
Answer:
well u fit the description of an ALLERGIC individual or what is said in medical terms as " ATOPIC individual " Atopic individuals usually have insect bite allergies , eczema , itching eyes and stuff like that . but being atopic is nothing to worry about ...it just means ure overly senstive to some stuff ... and if u stay away from them u will be ok. But atopic people tend to develop what is called as " seasonal asthma " like u might get it in spring but it won't be very severe . if ever u had a wheeze goto a doc and he will probably give u a inhaler to use whenever u start wheezing . nothing else would be needed Word of advice they are also usually allergic to sea food and egg yolk . if u have'nt tried them before.try eating a little the first time So cheer up swts ... and hey i heard atopic people are cute too ;) cheeerio
you have to go to a lung center to be tested to be sure
if u think that u might have asthma then u should go to your doctor and ask him/her to recommend an asthma doctor/ specialist.
oh my lord you are going to die in 7 days..jk.there is something called a doctor, maybe you should try getting one!

Do I have appendicitis?

since last night i have been having on and off pain in my lower right ab. it has been 24 hours since it started. it has not gotten worse. it is just dull comes and goes. sometimes I do not feel it. I feel it more when I feel like passing gas.
Answer:
Go to the acute care unit at your community hospital and get checked out.
GO SEE A DOCTOR!
dont ask us go to a doctor!
can you jump? if you can't jump then yes, you have it. if you can jump it may be like kidney or galbladder stones
your appendicits is located on the right side kinda were your pants r unless they are hip huggers push hard and deep on your appendicits if it rebounds hurts the whole time you push till the time you let go it could be an appendicitis attack is usually followed with nausea and vomiting also a fever if the pain still persists your best bet would be to go to the er
Any time you have ongoing abdominal pain you should be seen by your family physician or at your local clinic. If the pain becomes severe enough that you can not do your normal daily routine, this includes ability to sleep, you should be seen right away.
A good web site to check for medical information is www.medlineplus.gov
If you are having pain in that area, it would be best to the local ER and get checked out. You didn't say you were feverish, that sometimes occurs with appendicitis. Hope you feel better. Try not to keep waiting, seek help. Good luck.

Do i have an std?

a few months i noticed this small painless bump in my pubic are just about the clitoris but it hasnt gotten any bigger and it is not a weird color.also there is some small discoloration that kinda looks like ringworm around my pubic area. could i have an std?
Answer:
go to the gyno and they can tell you for sure!it might be genital warts!
check with your OBGYN
I hope not,but you need to check with your doctor. thats sounds painful. Good Luck to you!
i have the same kind of thing going on in my ulva area, and i think it is genital warts. i hope i'm wrong, but that's what i think. they're common enough that i wouldn't doubt it. i'm seeing the gyn in a couple of weeks to have it checked out. you should go to the gyn too- you don't want an STD spreading if it is one. it could be nothing, but wouldn't you rather know?
genital warts are painless bumps and so is syphilis. syphilis is deadly and u need a blood test to determin that. genetal warts can cause cervical cancer. go to a GYN doctor.

Do I have acid reflux?

Recently, but very occasionally, i have been feeling like something is stuck in my throat or that something is going up my throat, but nothing was there. While that happens, my chest really hurts-is it heartburn? I just almost threw up a minute ago, it was in my mouth and everything. I was bending down to plug something in, and i guess i burped, but i started to vomit. It never left my mouth, but shortly after, my mouth started watering like i was going to barf again. Does this have anything to do with acid reflux, and does it sound like i even have it?My mom has acid reflux, and doctors thought my sister did also, but they were wrong. My dad doesn't have it.
Answer:
I wonder how old you are? It could be acid reflux, or your gall bladder, I had the same symptons for both. You need to go to the dr.
It sounds like you may have acid reflux, but only your doctor can diagnose it.
Possibly. I have it but not as bad as you (if that's what it is).Go to www.webmd.com - search "acid reflux" and/or use their interactive symptoms checker. Cool site, totally free, not a shill for drug companies.
It does sound like it, even the coughing. Make sure you tell a doctor, because if it is, you'll have to be watched for damage. It might even be corrected, if it's being caused by a hiatal hernia.
well......you might have reflux.ask your doc to order an upper GI series to rule out this and other problems such as esophogeal cancer...also,have him do a H.pylori test.good luck.......

Do I have a wart on my hand?

How do you know if you have a wart? And what are the best ways to treat them?
I have this thing that I think is a wart... it started like a callous and slowly got bigger.. it never really hurt until today. It kinda popped and some puss let out... what is it?? and how do i get rid of it?!
Answer:
Warts don't pop or have pus in them. Warts are more solid and can have a cauliflower look to them. Put some antibiotic ointment and a bandaid on it for a few days and see if that helps. Sounds like some sort of an abcess, which is just a pus filled sac really - a combinations of dead white blood cells and bacteria. You may need to get it lanced if it gets worse, but just try the ointment for a few days. That could help. See a doctor if it doesn't.
Please contact your dr about it in case you do have an abscess or infection. Perhaps you can apply a tissue to the area as it is sort of draining and then at least put antibiotic/neosporin ointment and a bandage on top until the dr can look at it. For warts (and sometimes moles), sometimes cryotherapy (cryo for freezing the area) helps. The dr would be able to discuss other options. When in doubt as to the puss, go to the ER. Feel better soon!

Do I have a stomach ulcer?

Hi, I have been having problems with my stomach for about two years now. After everything I eat, even gum, I get sharp stomach pains for about 3 hours until I go to the bathroom(number 2 *cough*), and when I do go to the bathroom it's usually really bad diarrhea. This is especially bad if I eat anything in the morning. I usually have to wait 3 hours after waking up to eat so I don't get sick like this. If I don't use the restroom my stomach pains will get so bad that if I even more I feel like crying. I also get extremely bloated. I have gone to the doctor but they haven't gotten anything that could be wrong. The prescribed me Prilosec but that doesn't do much. It gives me bad pains in my lower abdomen when I have to pee and makes me do that every 3 hours or so. Which isn't normal for me at all. Help?
Answer:
I encourage to go to an allergist %26 have them test you for food allergies. I had a similar problem. Mine progressed to the point of bloody stools. I was even anemic. I had one doctor tell me that I had internal hemorrhoids, another said a torn sphincter ( I know, to much info), but both were incorrect. As it turned out, I had wheat %26 yeast allergies. Once eliminated from my diet, all the symptons disappeared and have had no problems for 15+ years.
Sounds like irritable bowel syndrome but it could be some sort of food allergy, do you drink milk or tap water? If so an allergy test may be helpful or a bacteria test for your water. Perhaps a stool analysis would be helpful to diagnose your problem.
Hello =)You might want to arrange a consult with a Gastrointestinal doctor to do an endoscope. That way, it will make the diagnosis easier. Actually personally I feel that it's not painful as some people make it to be. Just a little uncomfortable. You may want to consider gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining) if you feel bloated only after a meal. Alternatively, you can ask your doctor do a blood test to check for a bacteria helicobacter pylori. It's less of a hassle and alot more cheaper.Hope you get well soon. :D

Do I have a skin infection?

My finger is very dry and scaly, it hurts to move, there's tiny circles of skin that's broken and a little bit of puss. What is it? What should I do?
Answer:
Sounds like you just have very dry skin.
try using a hand cream like Vanicream, you can get it at any Wal-mart or Walgreens. use it several times a day.
It's a non-greasy, moisturizing skin cream.

Do I have a skin disease, if I have white spots on my skin??

Answer:
What is your complexion? My daughter has the same symptoms which for a long time was misdiagnoised. She is brown skinned and we found out it was tinea versicolor.Welived in Houston and now in Sacramento and due to hot weather and humidy a fungus grows in the skin and white spots appear more on minority skin and red spots on caucasian skin.
is there dry skin?
is the area at all irritated?
It could be one of three things.
- Leucoderma - which means that there is a skin condition where your skin is not generating the right pigments which colour the skin
- Some kind of skin condition which may be caused by some cell decomposition or multiplication and which needs immediate visit to the skin doctor without delay - it may even be a form of melanoma or something.
- Probably it is a Fungal infection and which still needs a skin specialists attention - local application of the right antifungal ointment or liquid will cure it
Of course there may be many more reasons - but from what I have seen of life - NEVER EVER NEGLECT SKIN PROBLEMS - JUST GO TO THE SKIN SPECIALIST AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE CHANGE.

Do I have a hernia?

For two years I have been having a burning/kinda heavy pain near my right groin (its kinda near the hip down to the private parts!) And I think there seems to be swelling near the private parts at the top. Sometimes if I lie down and touch it there seems to be a large lump that is the size of the whole area kind of and it can sink back in..but there is nothing ever visible to the eye..maybe internal hernia?? Seems to be better with rest and worse with activitys.
Answer:
Yes it sounds like a hernia.
I would go to the docs and have it looked at .He can refer you to a surgeon to have it repaired to get rid of that burning heavy pain you describe. As another answer has pointed out there is a small risk it could become strangulated and this would need an emergency op but this is not common (but not unheard of).The op itself is very simple and is usually done as a day case.
It will be uncomfortable for a week or so but this is usually bearable if you take some painkillers and get lots of TLC from your nearest and dearest!Hope this helps
Yeah sounds like something bad down there. Suggest you see your doctor asap.. My son had a hernia and has been operated on. Best get it sorted before you do some damage.
Yes it does sound like a hernia.I have had 2 of the pesky things and they can get quite uncomfortable at times. It is essential that you see a doctor as soon as possible as they can become strangulated and then you have an emergency situation so get to your GP as soon as possible to get it checked out.If an operation is required then it can be done by "Keyhole surgery"this is much less invasive and you are up and about much quicker. Best of luck and make that appointment!

Do I have a blood clot?

I noticed on my back calf that I have bruises. I also have had a weird feeling there for three days. It feels almost as if there is a knot in it. I feel it more when I drive that is causes discomfort. I am really scared.
Answer:
measure the calf of your good leg and the painful one. In your painful leg press your heel down and flex your toes back toward your head. If this hurts, or your "bad leg" is larger than your other leg, or calf is hot you need to see a doctor tonight. If none of these apply you have a muscular injury.
Just go to the doctor don't be real worried but go to the doctor it could be something so simple as a tear in something just go to the doctor you will be fine
It sounds as tho you were hit or kicked there at one point in the last few days perhaps, and have aquired a charlie horse? If that's what it is it's just a leg cramp that feels like a knot...it will heal on it's own, but I would still see a doctor, just to make sure.
Its not a blood clot. Its not the symptoms of DVT. However you must have broken some blood vessels and hopefully that will fade in the next week. You'd best check with a real doctor.

Do Homeopathic Doctors Really Heal Chronic Depression?

Has anyone been healed by a homeopathic doctor and their weird techniques? Which are the best techniques?
Answer:
This is an interesting one! As a cancer patient I have been undergoing conventional medical therapy and I'm now undertaking a course of radio therapy following chemo and surgery. In addition I have been seeing a naturopath/homeopath for assistance and have been undertaking some of the naturopathic treatments which made sense. Recently, however it was recommended that I consider some homeopathic treatment, which as you may know involves treating particular symptoms with extremely diluted substances that if taken by healthy person (in quantity) the same symptoms would occur. (treating like with like). Homeopathic cure is based on three principles: * Like cures like
* Potentization-dynamization
* The law of infinitesimalsAs an engineer, I couldn't take this flimsy explanation on face value so I needed to investigate the theory further and determine if it was valid. Without going into too much detail I determined that the basis of the so called substances being used in extremely small dilutions based on a so called homeopathies "law of infinitesimals", whereby the more diluted the substance being administered was the better and more potent its effect would be! Homeopathic products are made from minerals, botanical substances, and several other sources that are diluted to such an extent, that if you consider some basic laws of chemistry which state that there is a limit to the dilution that can be made without losing the original substance altogether. Then the dilutions of remedies being offered you would find that there would not even be 1 molecule of the substance being prescribed in the remedy! The maximum possible dilutions relate to Avogadro's number which corresponds to homeopathic potencies of 12C or 24X (1 part in 10 to the power of 24), yet remedies offered are generally diluted by as much as 30X or considerably more!In my mind, assuming that the fundamental theory of curing like with like isn't also flawed, there is no way this treatment would work! At best I would see it a placebo, and ones strength in the belief that it is doing something for them, could certainly make a difference, as the power of the mind is an amazing thing, and largely untapped. But then again I think the same could be achieved by taking sugar water, so long as you believed in it. However, when all said is done, you need to do what you feel is right for you.Best of Luck.
Homeopaths have been known to help people who suffer from depression by treating their general overall wellbeing. They treat the person and not just the symptoms. They will gather as much information about you ie. your thoughts, feelings, likes, dislikes, etc and find the best remedy for you. It's based on the theory that like cures like. They offer you either pillules or tablets in different strengths depending on the severity of the condition and then monitor your progress by providing follow-up appointments until they get the right remedy for you and see an improvement. As well as homeopathic remedies, counselling is usually one of the best forms of treatment for chronic depression. The flower remedy 'St. John's Wort' can also help with mild to moderate depression by taking at least 900mg, but don't take this if you are on any other medication as it may block the effect of the other medication.
I have never been to a homeopathic doctor. There are none available in my area. But I do use some of the same techniques in my home such as reflexology, kinesiology and cleanses for the body. Natural remedies have worked better for me and my family than conventional doctors as far as prevention and maintenance on the body. In my research for helping a friend with depression I have come upon many interresting things. First of all, if your colon is plugged with undigested food, proper nutrition cannot be absorbed the way it needs to be. This can have everything to do with many health problems. If you are not getting the right fuel, you're running on an empty tank. No amount of depression medication can clean your colon. A homeopathic doctor may suggest a colong cleanse. Many homeopathic doctors know how to muscle test for things that you may be sensitive to (i.e. foods, chemicals, etc). Muscle testing seems kind of weird if you've never done it before. It is easy and there is no guessing, you body knows what makes it weak or strong. It works and I use it every day. Lack of oxygen may be the cause of your depression. When the brain does not get the oxygen it needs, it doesn't operate properly. GHT makes an oxygen suppliment that you might be interested in.Another cause for depression can be murcery poisoning from dental fillings, immunizations etc. This can also be something a homeopatic doctor can check for.Hope this helps. If the homeopathic doctor you see doesn't mention these things, ask him. It may help in solving your problem.
Yes, I had a homeopathic cure for depression. And it did work.

Do heart surgeons make more money than anesthesiologists?

so i'm just curious, my friends and i were talking about this.
Answer:
Yes my dear. the heart surgeons make more money anywhere in the world.
yes
Definitely. The rarer the discipline and the tougher the work, the more money they make, especially transplant surgeons be they heart transplant, or liver, kidney, whatever.
Of course heart surgeons make just about more than anesthesiologist. Heart surgeons are the ones that perform the surgery and are up for hours trying to prolong the patients life. Anesthesiologists are there through the whole thing, making sure the patient is in la la land. Peace Brownies
